conclusion

I hope I've inspired you to take an interest in philosophy. I'm going to sum up now, then go over a few details which you can read if you feel like it. If you have any questions, email me [email protected].

Everyone makes mistakes, even without realizing it. This causes problems and suffering. But life doesn't have to be that way. We can improve and make fewer mistakes. Whatever you're having trouble with, it could be completely fixed with more knowledge, and philosophy helps us acquire knowledge.

We gain knowledge by coming up with ideas, which might not be any good, and then improving our ideas by using criticism. Criticism is about clearly explaining flaws in ideas. By this process, we can improve and learn.

By learning, we can learn solutions to our problems. By improving, we can make fewer mistakes. That's what philosophy has to offer (plus it can satisfy curiosity, and it's pretty interesting).
