Practicing Basics

If you practice basics, one of two things will happen.

  1. It takes time b/c you weren't good at it. It's slow but you needed it.
  2. It's pretty easy and you don't need it that much. In that case, it'll go quickly. Just do a few to demonstrate and check that you really can (cuz ppl often overestimate themselves).
If you already have the skills, it's short and fast to go back over something to test your knowledge. If you don't, it takes longer b/c you have to develop the skills.

so there is like no reason to NOT practice basics. either its super EZ and u can be sure you are able to do it, and it shows to other ppl you can do it. OR it turns out ur bad at basics

its really good to know your bad at a small thing before you start trying to do a bigger thing that relies on the small thing!

the message i just posted above was about to be bigger and expand on the second paragraph more. i stopped cuz it started seeming to hard to fit the extra ideas into the second paragraph.

i did not think about making a third paragraph for some reason.

maybe i was worried the message would be to big if i made a third paragraph, elliot recommended to make more quick tiny replies that are like 3 sentences.

i think larger replies are fine if you can easily write them out.

Longer can be harder for ppl to read and understand, not just harder to write.
