I went outside, walked a few blocks, entered a building, asked for some food, handed over a piece of paper, was given hot, good food 2-3 minutes later, and left. I didn't bring ID, and I didn't give my name.
It's wonderful.
Sitting in the public area were bins with hot sauce packets, napkins, sporks, drink tops, straws, and a soda machine. No security.
My order was set on the counter. I walked up and took it. No one checked my receipt.
It's amazing how peaceful our society is.

not just peaceful.
i hear of a new product from a vendor i've never heard of. sometimes that vendor is in china.
i make a $3,000 order. pay the vendor for it. and then expect my order to come.
but they didn't have to do that. they could have kept my money and not sent me anything.
and i make orders like this (with *new* vendors) many times a month.
and i've never not got my orders.
i dunno what you're making these purchases with, but credit cards and banks have various fraud protection mechanisms.
if they defraud you, that's a crime, and there exist mechanisms in the world to get your money back and punish them for their crime.
Yeah man, I paid for a kickstarter project thing once and they kept pushing back the date and were non-responsive about refunds, so I just reached out to my credit card company and sent them some info. BAM refund.
